Then on Thursday it is Smash Bros. night with squad strike starting at 6:30 followed by singles in Ultimate and Melee at 7pm. Friday night is FIFA 22 at 7pm and Sunday at 1pm is Rocket League.

If you missed it this last Friday and Saturday, we announced our next two monthly tournaments and we are super excited! The first one is the next Clash in the Capital, our main FGC monthly, that will be held on Saturday, August 13th. It will feature 5 main tournaments plus a side tournament or two. Street Fighter V and DNF Duel will start at 12:30pm followed by Guilty Gear Strive, Tekken 7, and King of Fighters XV at 2pm. As usual pot per tournament is $8, the venue fee is $7, but only $5 if you bring a setup. Des Moines Gaming Club is providing $10 of pot bonus per tournament. Sign up by visiting our start.gg page by simply going to start.gg and searching clash in the capital where you are sure to find it. We posted the link on our social medias as well on Friday so you can go reference that if you need.

Then on August 20th, we are hosting our first ever Rocket League Monthly tournament! It is a 3v3 double elimination tournament held here at the Club on PC using Epic Games login. Now since we have limited space here at DMGC we are capping this tournament to 10 teams of 3 so be sure get you and your squad signed up on our start.gg page ASAP to lock in your spot. It’s $15 per person to enter with a good chunk of that going to pot plus we are adding another $50 of pot bonus. You can find it on start.gg by searching DMGC 3v3 Competitive Rocket League Tournament or you can just go to our Facebook or Twitter where it is our pinned post and find the link that way. Super excited about this as Rocket League is already a great game and will only get bigger as an esport.

We’ll wrap up today’s telecast by talking about the Call of Duty League’s Major 4 tournament that took place this last weekend in Brooklyn, NY. It was the LA Thieves who won the whole thing in the Grand Finals after beating hometown team New York Subliners in a thrilling match. Atlanta FaZe came in 3rd and OpTic Texas came in 4th. It was an amazing tournament for the Subliners who started the tournament outside of Champs qualification, but they continued their great form and pulled themselves into Champs. That means that the Paris Legion, Florida Mutineers, Minnesota Rokkr, and Los Angeles Guerillas will not be at Champs. Cod Champs starts on Thursday August, 4th and will be exclusively stream on YouTube.

That’l do it for todays Tuesday Telecast. Thanks so much for watching and we’ll see you next week.!
