Tuesday Telecast September 13th, 2022

Good Afternoon gamers and thanks for tuning in to a weekly update from Des Moines Gaming Club. Starting today we have a private event that will recur every Tuesday from 4:30 to 6:30 that will keep the Club closed during those times. It is a youth esports club that will meet 10 Tuesday’s in a row starting today. Those exact dates are September 13th, today, through November 15th so again just to reiterate, we will be closed every Tuesday from 4:30 to 6:30 from today till November 15th.

Moving on to the rest of the week’s schedule we will be open for casual play today from 1-4:30 and from 6:30 to 10pm. Wednesday and Thursday 1pm-10pm, Friday 1pm-11pm, and Sunday 11am-5pm. We are closed on Saturday this week. The weekly tournament schedule is unchanged with FGC tomorrow night from 6-10pm with official tournaments in Guilty Gear Strive and Tekken 7. Thursday night is Smash Bros. with squad strike at 6:30 with singles to follow at 7:15pm. Friday night is FIFA 22 at 7pm and Rocket league is 1pm on Sunday.

We’ll end the video today with the news that the Nintendo Direct was released today giving Nintendo fans all sorts of info and details on upcoming games coming to Nintendo consoles. You can go watch it right now for yourself by going to Nintendo’s Youtube channel but two takeaways I left with is that Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild 2 now has an official release date and that is May 12th, 2023. With the first Breath of the Wild being so incredibly well received back when it was released in 2017, fans were anxious for the sequel and we have seen teaser trailers but now to have an official release date less than a year away is super exciting. Also, the incredibly classic and beloved James Bond Goldeneye for the N64 is getting a remastered release on new consoles soon which is sure to a nostalgia overload for anyone who played that game back in the day. I know I’m personally excited to play that again with some updated graphics and controls!

That’l do it for today’s Tuesday Telecast, thanks for watching and we’ll see ya next week!
