Good morning everyone and welcome back to another weekly update from Des Moines Gaming Club. The schedule this week at the club is as follows. We are open for casual play today from 1-4:15pm and then from 6:30-10pm as we have the Norwalk Youth Esports team in today from 4:30-6:30. Wednesday and Thursday we are open from 1-10pm, and then Friday and Saturday we are open from 1-11pm. We are closed on Sunday as I have a wedding to attend.
For all you FGC players out there us being closed Sunday might be a surprise as we had schedule our Monthly B-Side tournament for this Sunday but I made an error and forgot that I had this wedding. So, we are moving the B-Side tournament to another Sunday in October, the official details to be announced soon. Our weekly tournament schedule is FGC night Wednesday from 6-10pm with official tournaments in Guilty Gear Strive and King of Fighters XV. Thursday night is Smash Bros. with Squad strike starting at 6:30 followed by singles around 7:15-7:30 in Ultimate and Melee. We have recently added P+ to the Smash Bros weekly so if you are interested in that it starts at 6:30 every week! Moving on we have FIFA 22 on Friday nights at 7pm and no Rocket League since we are closed on Sunday.
